How the directory works
What we collect, how we check it, how long it stays current, and how plans are ordered.
Sources
Every field comes from a provider's public page, the provider confirming it to us, our own test, or a user report — and each is labelled as such. A provider's claim ("M6 chip", "residential IP") is shown as the provider's claim; it isn't verified hardware.
How long information stays current
Stock is re-checked daily, prices weekly, terms and configuration monthly. After that a plan is marked "needs re-checking" and drops out of the "verified available" filter until an editor checks the source again. A page that merely loads doesn't count as a check; failing to load a page never changes published data.
Automatic checks
Software may read a provider's own public page and record when it did. This is shown as "Automatically checked" and is not verification by a person: it never makes a plan "verified available", never extends the dates above and never changes published information. A difference it finds is only a suggestion until an editor reviews it.
Prices
Prices stay in their original currency. We show what you pay first and how many months it covers; a yearly price spread over 12 months is a monthly equivalent, not a monthly charge. If any required fee is unknown, we say the total is to be confirmed instead of showing a complete price. Deposits are money held, not rent. We don't convert currencies, so we never rank a dollar price against a yuan price.
Stock
"Can apply" is not the same as "in stock". Stock is shown as the source states it: available, waitlist, sold out, paused, or not confirmed.
Order
By default, plans with current information come first, then the most recently checked, then a fixed id. You can also sort by price (within each currency) or by check date. There is no hidden "best" score.
Commercial relationships
Being listed is free and doesn't mean we vouch for a provider. Sponsored placements and affiliate links are labelled where they appear and never change the default order. Clicks to providers are counted per day without storing your IP address.
Corrections
Anyone can send a correction with a source. Corrections never change public data by themselves: an editor checks the source, updates the plan, and publishes the change to the updates page.
